Matt Peters joins us as a highly accomplished business leader with over 35 years of experience in the utilities and renewable energy sectors. He is known as an authentic, engaging leader who builds high-performing teams and delivers results. He holds an Executive MBA, Bachelor of Business, and Associate Diploma of Electrical Engineering.

Matt's most recent experience includes 4 years as COO of 8 Star Energy, who source and market renewable energy products under the Energizer Solar brand. There, he led the growth of the business into the European market, including a 3.5-year distribution agreement and an initial Order of €50M.

For the 2 years before that, Matt was the GM of Commercial Asset Services at AusNet Services (Mondo). There, he led a $300M infrastructure design and construction program, including 3 major wind farm connections and a grid-scale battery, and $100M p/a of asset services revenue to electricity, gas, water, and rail businesses across Australia.
