We offer Cable Jointing courses and qualifications nationally for new and experienced lineworkers and for licenced electricians seeking to upskill. Our training provides essential practical and theory components, delivered by experienced industry practictioners.
UET30821 Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground
This qualification is offered as an Apprenticeship. We also offer programs for experienced workers. These programs include a desk top analysis of existing skills, credit transfer, recognition of prior learning, gap training and on-the-job experiences. Core Cable Jointing Skill Sets
We offer a 15 day program which are weighted toward practical and field exercises.
There are nine pre-prequisite units required to undertake this program, seven of which are covered as in the UEE Electrotechnology Training Package below.

- UETDRDU015 Joint, terminate and maintain low voltage underground polymeric cable
- UETDRDU013 Joint, terminate and maintain high voltage underground polymeric cable
UEE Electrotechnology Technical Package
We offer a training package consisting of the following Units of Competency

We offer the mandatory training required by the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) as follows:
- VEDN Module 1 - Installation of Underground Electrical Infrastructure (1 day)
- VEDN Module 6 - Cable hauling (2 days)
