Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process which assesses the skills and knowledge you have acquired over time, to determine if you meet the requirements for nationally recognised units of competency and qualifications.
Our process is tailored for each client, with a custom RPL Evidence Collection Kit generated to align to the roles performed at each worksite. Types of evidence to be collected as part of the RPL process include position description, training records and logs confirming work performed.
Where required, the RPL process will also utilise interviews with candidates and their supervisors to confirm the application of skills and knowledge within the operational workplace environment. Collected evidence is then mapped by RelyOn Australia RPL Assessors to the requirements for units of competency in which recognition is being sought.
Where a candidate has provided sufficient evidence, RelyOn Australia will issue the relevant qualification or Statement of Attainment for the units of competency completed. Where there are gaps in the evidence, we can design and provide custom programs to finalise outstanding training and assessment requirements.
With a focus on the provision of quality training and assessment practices, RelyOn Australia is committed to providing the highest standard of RPL services which meet the needs of industry. Our training services team includes experienced Subject Matter Experts within the power generation, transmission and distribution sectors, as well as regulatory compliance experts ensuring all educational compliance requirements are met.
