Workers and contractors who are involved in developing, operating and maintaining electrically significant infrastructure now have access to short courses and training at Endeavour Energy’s state-of-the-art training facility at Hoxton Park, to gain the qualifications essential for their work. 

ASP Annual Refresher Training

We are offering a straight forward approach to maintaining your annual ASP compliance. This time-efficient program is designed to meet the needs of Level 1 and 2 Accredited Service Providers. It includes Pre Learning via our online platform, followed by a day of Instructor-led practical exercises at Hoxton Park.

Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Accredited Training

GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) is targeted at personnel who are currently working or seeking to work in the wind industry. Courses are designed for operators, technicians and specialists working in wind turbines, and will assist Learners to develop, practice and maintain safe work practices and everyday tasks, during rescue and evacuation activities.

Introduction to Cable Jointing and Installation Practices

A one day program designed for engineers, site project managers and asset owners to help you understand how to implement measures and controls to prevent costly faults before they happen and what happens when the fault occurs. We explore the basics of UG cable systems, components of cable jointing kits, electrical stress caused by MV conductors and why/how it is controlled, cable sheath bonding methods, cable failure causes and consequences, cable jointing preparation and workmanship, cable testing and documentation.

Arc Flash Awareness

A one day program designed to enable participants to safely work on or near electrical apparatus by providing them with the knowledge and skills to understand arc flash, its risks and methods of mitigation. Courses can be contextualised to provide practical approaches to understanding the hazards and developing risk management strategies or more technical classes for engineers interpreting arc flash calculations.

The course is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to enable them to broadly understand High Voltage plant and the associated hazards. This course includes coverage of compliance with working safely up to the defined safe approach distance (SAD) near energised electrical apparatus and preparation of risk assessment control measures that encompass job safety assessment.
